Tourism in Bilbao

Bilbao is a city that has been steadily transformed since the 1990s and it was awarded the “Nobel prize” for urban development in 2010.   It is a delightful city with a great wealth of cultural and architectural heritage, as can be seen from its historical buildings and the art you come across as you stroll along the streets.  Yet Bilbao is also a modern city, that offers a great many leisure and shopping options to ensure you get the most out of your trip to the capital of Bizkaia.
